Cassandra Vogl

Cassandra Vogl is a candidate for Lexington's 11th District City Council, running on a platform of Health, Habitat, and Housing. A resident of the Cardinal Valley area since 2018, Cassandra has built her career on a holistic approach to community well-being, drawing from an extensive background in Community Health and social work. Her vision for the district focuses on strengthening social connections, protecting the local habitat through sustainable infrastructure, and ensuring every resident has access to safe, attainable housing.

Cassandra's leadership is rooted in a deep understanding of the systemic challenges facing our city. Her experience as an Aging and Disability Resource Coordinator at the Bluegrass Area Development District and her subsequent work in the legal field have given her a unique perspective on the root causes of economic inequality and instability. She is dedicated to proactive, culturally sensitive leadership that ensures every voice is represented in the local decision-making process.

Richard Moloney

Richard Moloney is a lifelong Lexington resident, having spent his high school years living in nearby Versailles before returning back to the 11th District. A dedicated public servant with more than two decades of experience serving the people of Lexington-Fayette County, he represented the community for seven terms as a District Councilmember and two terms as an At-Large Councilmember, building a strong record of leadership, accessibility, and results.

Known for his deep commitment to neighborhoods and families, Richard has long focused on improving public safety, supporting local businesses, investing in infrastructure, and expanding affordable housing opportunities. His hands-on approach and knowledge of local government have made him a trusted advocate for residents across the city.
